Firefox v.3.6.8; Windows 7 Home Premium; Norton Internet Sec.

Google maps load just fine, but Bing maps do not load at all [status bar
says "done", but no map ever appears. The maps do load in IE8. My
Firefox "Silverlight" plug-in is the latest version.

I had no problems with loading Bing maps until recently. I have many
extensions, but haven't added anything in the recent past [that I can
recall], so I am stumped at present. A search on the web, using both
Google and Bing, hasn't turned up anything yet.

Any ideas would be appreciated. TIA.

Well, you could avoid Bing... But try looking at such things as Adblock
Plus, or Flashblock, or NoScript to see if they are blocking Bing's maps.

Try deleting all your bing cookies.

Thanks, unfortunately - no go. Played with settings in Flashblock and
Adblock, but neither one was set to block anything that I could
determine came in from Microsoft. NoScript is currently disabled on my
setup. Also ran Firefox in full Safe Mode, i.e., nothing enabled, and
the problem persists.

So I am still looking for a source for the problem.

Thanks, but still no progress - in addition to what I noted in the reply
to Ron, I searched for and disabled all Bing cookies - that didn't
influence the problem. Also blew away all cookies [i.e., maybe
something was inscrutable in its relationship to Bing maps], and that
did not resolve the problem.
