Not entirely true some turn up but for instance www.choice.co.uk is fine
until you get into the catalogue screen ie women dresses then no pictures!

Please please help here because IE7 let me down, it was working with IE7
until two days ago, since then I'm losing my hair trying every fix known to
man but no joy

Thanks
Jane

Are you using any blocking software/extensions?

Try running in safe mode, to assess whether there are any extensions
impacting on the situation

I have no problems with the site

Hi Jane,
On dial-up access third party images were often blocked
because a lot of them were ads, and in fact would often violate
the terms of service published by a website, so by passing such
things off to a third party many sites absolved themselves of blame
for malware introduced by double-click ads and others, and which
if not bad certainly wasted your limited band width.

Sounds like your problem with viewing pictures is on IE7, so I'll
supply information for that first. I don't see an option to suppress
third party pictures and it sound like you may be seeing no pictures
To see pictures on websites in IE (actually IE7)
tools, internet options, advanced, multimedia, (check) Show pictures
Newsgroup for IE is probably:
news//:msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general
but you might want to simply search Google Groups instead, just
like you would search for answers in Google Groups for answers
to Firefox questions before posting a question.

In Firefox if you are not seeing any pictures then
Tools, Options, Content (tab), (checkmark) Load Images Automatically
-- you can use the exceptions to block images from some sites
The best way to block bad sites and unwanted images and flash is
probably through "Adblock Plus" or "Adblock" extension.

In Firefox if you are not seeing some pictures then it is
probably because you had third party (external) images blocked in
a previous version of Firefox, and Firefox no longer has that
in it's options. To see all images in Firefox if you have the
"Web Developer" extension then
Tools, Web Developer, Images, Disable images,
(uncheck anything checked on it's dropdown)
If you don't have "Web Developer" then see
type about:config on the location bar
filter on default.image
then change value to 1 for
permissions.default.image Integer
Determines when images should be loaded.
1 (default): Load all images
2: Do not load any images
3: Load images from same (originating) server only

I've done all of that and no not using any blocking software. Have
system restored, downloaded a million different patches (well not a
million!) and still can't see them!!!
