I kept trying to stream a TV show I missed from the ABC TV site. It
just kept loading, and loading, and loading.... and never would play.

I launched Chrome and it played fine on Chrome.

I have the proper plug ins and up to date Java and Flash. The
Flashblock was turned off on FF.

As a test, I went to CBS and brought up one of their episodes. It
played fine on FF. I have no problems with You Tube or other videos
that I can see, just from this site.

I'm running the very latest build of FF10 (just updated today) on
Windows XP SP3.

What could be stopping the video from ABC?

Shows played for me after disabling Adblock Plus.

Ah... I will give that a try. Thanks.

That didn't work. Still just shows loading but no streaming video.

Will have to try it in safe mode without extensions.

Do you have a particular video so we can look or is it all videos at CBS?

I meant ABC, not CBS.

All videos at ABC.

I don't know how I did it, but it's now fixed. I did go in in sae mode
with all add ons turned off and it worked. Then I went back in regular
node and checked the add ons. I turned off the Microsoft media player,
thinking perhaps it was a conflict. It played.

The next time I went in and tried it, I'd forgotten to disable the
Microsoft again and it played anyway.

I have to think that when I "turned off" the add block plus, it did not
actually set until I had gone out of FF and returned.

I knew that <g>

It's working now. The fix was just another FF mystery. I've been with
this browser since it was Netscape and I've learned that sometimes, you
do one little thing and it will fix stuff but there is no rhyme or
reason to it. I just live with the mystery and magic of my favorite
browser.

Have a great day.
