All other sites that I go to come up without any problems. And I can
get into gmail using IE, but I don't like IE. I like Firefox. Also,
if I sign into my gmail account with IE, I can see my mail, but I
can't get to my home page - it just loads the generic google home
page. So if I want to view my gmail, I have to use IE, and if I want
to view my home page I have to use Firefox. Which is annoying, to say
the least.
Anyone have any help??
This is happening to me too. It happend right after I upgraded to the
latest version.
I am having the same problem. I have only just changed to Firefox from
IE and can't access Googlemail: I get into my inbox and Firefox
decides to close. though I'm glad to see it's not just me, I would
love to know what to do about it!
This is happening to me too! I wish I knew how to fix it, because I
hate IE.
DITTO!!! What gives? I still use a very old version of Netscape from
time to tme, and that is the ONLY way I can access my gmail account.
I've found if you have Add Block Plus that you have to disable it for
the gmail site. If not, it will not work.
I had this problem after I installed a Logitech webcam and skype.
After doing a system restore -- no effect. I uninstalled the plug in
for Skype for FireFox and it works great. I'm using XP Media Center.
Hope this helps.
I too am experiencing this problem, but only on my work PC (XP). The
home mac running firefox seems ok. I did try to uncheck the options
re startup, but it didn't help.

That's not the case to me. With ABP disabled and Firefox still
crashes when I log into Gmail. This happens since a couple of weeks
ago.
FYI, it happens on all computers I use, home or work. All are Windows
XP based systems.
Likewise: firefox 2.00.14 on the mac cycles endlessly, whereas IE7
under
Windows XP is able to access gmail.
