However, it doesn't FF frame so address bar doesn't come which is needed
because it shows the url on which I am in (of that page).
Is there any other screenshot extension which would include the FF frame
also?
or, maybe, screengrab developers could consider including this option in
some future version.
thanks.

Hi Vick,s
Incidentally people would probably like you to include a link as well
as the picture instead of expecting everyone to copy what can be
seen or guessed of the url in the picture character by character into the location bar.
Here is one
http://www.donationcoder.com/Software/Mouser/screenshotcaptor/index.html
(please don't produce any of those horrible dimmed grayed images as in examples)
allows you to put up tags with arrows to items, and circle any number of items
in choices of color, so it probably has what you need.
I use SnagIT (snagit.com) which is higher end.
A 7+ MB exe.
I wonder if something smaller size, and as an extension of ff is available.
but yeah, ability to put remakrs, circles in the page would be very
handy in the screenshot. Maybe, I should go ahead and install it.

I think I had installed this as an extension, but after installing it,
it wanted me to download full program from their site for it to work.
That is not the basic philosophy of extensions hence I had uninstalled it.
thanks.

It's not a FF extension, though.

Hi Vicks,
Unless you are uploading immediately to a screenshot site,
I can't think of other reasons why a FF extension would be better.
A separate application would allow you to take a screen shot of
anything independent of FF, always have the same interface to
work with and not add anything to the size of Firefox, have no
worries about interfacing with later versions of FF. You will notice
that the one mentioned by Dave Pyles has not been updated in
five years so add stability. But here are
three FF extensions you can compare features.
Snapper :: Firefox Add-ons
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2703
Endnote :: Firefox Add-ons
"Collects URL, hostname, last modification time and title page and exports to a RIS file."
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3131
Screengrab! :: Firefox Add-ons
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1146

I installed Mwsnap but found that it was quite kiddish. small arrows
etc. which no one would notice. So I uninstalled it.
I have gone ahead to download the bulky 7 MB software and installed it.
It is indeed worth it, giving lots of options for highlighting various
contents on the page. So, I am using it.
But, it is not much good at taking screenshots. I find ScreenGrab much
more convenient. So I am taking the screenshots in Screengrab, and
opening that image file in screenshotcaptor to annotate.
thanks for the pointer.

I had installed it, tried it for almost a week and could not understand
how it works, so removed it.

My fav.
I again installed snag it and even gone to download its full program but
found that that was a paid program. So I uninstalled the extension.
I think it was funny that the extension is there but would not work
until the full program is downloaded and installed, that too, a paid
program. I think that is not the philosophy behind extensions.
