Hi folks

I use FF 3 on Mac OS X 10.5.7

I receive the message "do you want the application "Firefox.app" to
accept incoming network connections?" from Mac OS firewall when
browsing.

Can someone technical explain what this site is doing? Is this website
trying to compromise my computer?

cheers
Sven

It's happen when the pages what you are browsing have plugins like WMP,
RealPlayer, Quicktime, etc.

Hi Gatolandia

why? Because of the streaming functionality of those media players?

Is there the possibility to disable such plugins?

cheers
