With WinXP I am running two monitors. My desktop is extended to a second
monitor. I seem to remember that earlier versions of FF opened on the
second monitor, where I like it. Now with FF 3, it always opens on the
primary monitor even after I've closed it while maximized on the
secondary monitor. Is this new behavior (i.e., bad memory -- mine, not
the machine's), or something goofy going on?

Drag it over to where you want it to open next press the shift key and the
red x to close the window. Reopen and it's where it was when you closed it.

Thanks, Rich. Alas, that didn't fix it. Still opens on the primary monitor.

Solution for this care of firefox forums:
http://support.mozilla.com/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?locale=ca&comments_parentId=118638&forumId=1

Drag to screen you want it in, do not maximise. Close. Should reopen
in the new screen you wanted.
