I have disabled the internal PDF viewer plugin in Nightly.
But it still starts when opening a PDF-document.
And it does not display norwegian characters right!!!
How do I disable it so that PDFs open in Adobe Reader?
(to view the PDF right I had to open it in Internet Explorer)

Did you exit/restart after disabling the plugin?

In nightlies, the PDF viewer is built in to Firefox (no add-ons
required). To disable it, go to Tools-->Options-->Applications, and
change the entry for PDF files.

Why is it listed as an addon then (have disabled it).
Application settings is set to "Adobe Reader".
But it still opens in that buggy and slow build-in viewer :-(

Is there another setting somewhere that could cause this?

Maybe you installed it before it was built into Firefox? In any case,
just remove the extension.

For clarification, it's called "PDF Viewer" with a logo that says 'PDF
JS'. Just want to make sure we're talking about the same extension. :)
