lightning-1.0b1-tb+sm-linux.xpi
With Thunderbird 3.0.1. I get the following message:
"Lightning" could not be installed because it is not compatible with your
Thunderbird build type (Linux_x86_64-gcc3). Please contact the author of
this item about the problem."
Any idea if 64bit linux builds will be supported with the Lightning
extension? I poked around a bit on the Lightning site, news postings, and
the Mozilla extensions site, but couldn't find anything about this.
Thanks a ton in advance for any input.

Try this:
http://mozilla.osuosl.org/pub/mozilla.org/calendar/lightning/releases/1.0b1/contrib/linux-x86_64/
If it doesn't work, though, you'll have to wait for builds from your
distribution vendor (SUSE).

Or build it yourself from source. I use the spec file from the Fedora
src.rpm on koji.fedoraproject.org and just tweak the version number to
use the latest source code from Mozilla.

Thanks Simon - this seems to be working.

John - I hear ya - but I always like to install from mainstream if possible,
it makes updating a lot easier. Color me lazy ...
Thanks guys - appreciate the help.
