I can't find a way to make SeaMonkey start with the Calendar Tab open
and the only way I can find to open it is through the Events and Tasks
Menu. Is that correct?
In Lightening 0.9 in Thunderbird there is an option to add buttons to
the main menu for Calendar functions. I can't find it in 1.0pre. Has it
been removed?

In Thunderbird 3.0pre test builds all tabs (including Calendar and
Task tabs) are automatically restored on each startup. I don't know
if SeaMonkey has this feature too. Does it work for Mail tabs in
SeaMonkey?
The buttons were moved to the shortcut area in the Thunderbird tab
bar. I'd say they should be in the same position in SeaMonkey.

Not here ;-(

Apparently not.

If the "Shortcut Area" is the space to the right of the tabs then
they're there.

I wonder how hard it is to create a new toolbar button.
But they are only there if there is already a calendar tab open....
Nope, any mail-tab will suffice.
Yes, I stand corrected. However if there is only one tab, the tab line is not
visible and thus the buttons are also not visible. And at startup there is
always only one tab...

OK, as per answer in m.d.a.seamonkey I learned that the browser setting to make
the tab line always visible also has effect here. I see now the buttons right
from start.
Thanks,
Wolfgang
