I'm on Bugzilla 3.2.5 and am wondering if there is a way of adding a text
message to the system generated emails.

Some of the users receiving system generated emails from Bugzilla and are
replying to them which is causing some server issues. I want to be able to
add a generic text message to the system generated emails that says "PLEASE
DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL. Use the link in the attached email to logon to
Bugzilla" or something like that. Then when emails go out, there will be
this message at the top of every email Bugzilla sends out.

Does anyone know of a way to accomplish this?
Thank you.

Yes. Edit the template
template/en/default/email/newchangedmail.txt.tmpl

Okay I found the newchangedmail.txt.tmpl file and made my changes. But I
don't see any new text added in the email. Do I need to run
"checksetup.pl" or anything else after this change or will it automatically
be changed when an email is sent thru Bugzilla?

Otherwise, I probably put the "text" in the wrong place.
Thanks.

Okay I made the change in the newchangedmail.txt.tmpl file and saved. Then I
updated a bug to send out an email. Still no message in the mail. Then I
checked the newchangedmail.txt.tmpl file and it's back to the original file
before I made changes. I know I saved the file and check it. What could be
happening?

I'm logged in as root etc..Help?

Thanks.

You need to edit:

template/en/default/email/newchangedmail.txt.tmpl

NOT:

data/template/template/en/default/email/newchangedmail.txt.tmpl
