As a complete beginer re BZ and servers .. I am trying to install BZ 5.0.2. This is a VirtualBox / Win 10 / Strawberry Perl / git / Bugzilla / Perl Modules / MS IIS .... stack There is nothing else installed on the VM except Agent Ransack

I get as far as section 13.3 (Add Handler Mappings) in the BZ documentation and stalled with the error:
"Add Script Map
---------------------------
The specified module required by this handler is not in the modules list. If you are adding a script map handler mapping, the IsapiModule or the CgiModule must be in the modules list."

I am not sure which "module list" is referred to here. My assumption would be the Perl modules but I have run checksetup.pl and the output from this included a command to 'install all' which I ran. However it is certainly true that there are no files on my VM with names containing "Isapi" or "Cgi"

Please where have I gone wrong and how do I fix it?

No, it's an IIS setting somewhere:

I don't use IIS, but the following looks like what you need:

Thorsten,
Thanks for your reply - you certainly steered me off the wrong path onto the correct one, and the links were helpful - though not definitive.

The trick is that the default installation selection for inetmgr does not include the two problem modules. I un-installed inetmgr (restarted as is required) and then selected it with the default settings plus I searched through the tree and selected both isapi entries and the cgi entry before OK'ing. Going to the "Modules" page in IIS and doing anything is an irrelevant and damaging mistake.

On to the next step!

I'm pretty sure CGI would have been enough, because Bugzilla is
written in Perl and only speaks CGI or mod_perl. But adding more
shouldn't harm of course...
