An easy way is to simply use Bugzilla's email interface and have your SVN
post-commit hook send Bugzilla email.

The glue installation basically configures a SVN repository with a Bugzilla product. Once you have installed the glue, you can edit the glue.conf file under the hooks folder to configure the behavior of the integration.

To test, try a checkin some file without a bug, or with a bug assigned to some other user – you should get error messages similar to the ones in the article.

SCMBug won't work anymore with current versions of Bugzilla, it would
need a lot of bug fixes and manually applied patches which one would
need to get from the mailing list. The last post on the mailing list
was on 01.07.2011, I doubt anybody is still using it. I liked SCMBug a
lot, but I prefer a current stable version of Bugzilla.
