Hello

I am trying to install Bugzilla.
I am following these links:
https://bugzilla.readthedocs.io/en/latest/installing/windows.html
https://bugzilla.readthedocs.io/en/latest/installing/apache-windows.html#apache-windows

If I write this URL in the browser:
http://my_server

I get "It works!" message, meaning Apache was installed correctly right?

When I write:
http://my_server/bugzilla

I get this message: "The requested URL /bugzilla was not found on this server."

I added to httpd.conf these lines(except 3.5.2.2-3.5.2.4 including):
Alias "/bugzilla/" "C:/bugzilla/"
<Directory "C:/bugzilla">
ScriptInterpreterSource Registry-Strict
Options +ExecCGI +FollowSymLinks
DirectoryIndex index.cgi index.html
AllowOverride All
Require all granted
</Directory>

Bugzilla installation locate in c:\bugzilla (according to instructions).

And I have done all the instructions from this link:
https://bugzilla.readthedocs.io/en/latest/installing/apache-windows.html#apache-windows

What can be the problem?

Thanks

If your are sure that "my_server" resolves to your local installation
of Apache, then yes.

> I get this message: "The requested URL /bugzilla was not found on this server."

I don't see any obvious error in your config, so I suggest standard
error checking: Check the permissions on the Bugzilla installation
directory itself, the web server needs to read it of course, increase
log level of Apache to "trace8" to see everything that's happening and
get Process Monitor[1] to see where Apache looks for your requested
directory.

Hi
Thanks for your answer.

I get these errors:
[Tue Nov 08 11:52:40.125177 2016] [cgi:error] [pid 3192:tid 920] (OS 2)The system cannot find the file specified. : [client 10.205.8.103:52325] couldn't create child process: 720002: index.cgi
[Tue Nov 08 11:52:40.125177 2016] [cgi:error] [pid 3192:tid 920] (OS 2)The system cannot find the file specified. : [client 10.205.8.103:52325] AH01223: couldn't spawn child process: C:/bugzilla/index.cgi

Do you know what is the problem?
My httpd.conf is attached.

Thanks

Your registry settings for using Perl with Apache CGI are most likely
wrong, double check the docs:

That error should be a different one to what you've reported before,
though.

Hi

You are right.
In registry, I have created this tree - HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.cgi\Shell\ExecCGI\
Perl command in ExecCGI
It should be- HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.cgi\Shell\ExecCGI\Command
Perl command in Command.

Another thing, when I use this URL - http://my_server/bugzilla It shows this error: " The requested URL /bugzilla was not found on this server."

But when I use this URL (with "/" at end) http://my_server/bugzilla/ It works OK.

Without the "/" at the end the URL not working.
How can I fix it?

Thanks

Check your "Alias" and try with removing the "/" at the end of the URL
and/or directory. If one of both works, consider reporting a bug to
maybe change the documentation.
