bugzilla not sending emails

i ahve installed bugzilla 3.2.5 with Testopia
bugzilla does not send emails for new bug creation etc.

Please let me know how to resolve this issue

All the settings for the email configuration is done in the Administration>Parameters>Email section for bugzilla, but the most common problem is the system settings. Start by checking the bugzilla perl mods are working correctly by setting the 'mail_delivery_method' to 'Test' to make sure the emails look good in the data/mailer.testfile.

i have set to test and the email is generated correctly
but setting it to send mail it gave following error
undef error - Insecure directory in $ENV{PATH} while running with -T switch
at lib/Email/Send/Sendmail.pm line 57.

Check your path and make sure any directory listed is not all read/writeable by everyone. Especially if the default path has been modified for the user running bugzilla.

Check the postfix logs on the bugzilla server, they will usually indicate the problem, such as the SMTP server doesn't accept emails from your bugzilla server address.

Hi, I have installed bugzilla 4.2.4 on my linux PC. One same machine sendmail is also working.But when I am sending mail from bugzilla server. Mail is not going to destination. I also used test option. No mail is coming in Mailer.test file. I have installed all perl moduel using cpan. If anybody know exact solution please mail me at amar...@gmail.com

You should have a second look at global and user specific mail
options, if no test mail is generated those settings may tell Bugzilla
to simply not generate mails.

Preferences/Email-Preferences: but not when (overrides above)

That depends on if you customized anything or ever "fixed" things
directly on database level and such. If you didn't there's good chance
you won't have problems, else... ;-) Backup and try, maybe on a
different system.

After submit bug shown "Email sent to: masom...@gmail.com" but in email I don't get any email. This email is "Default CC" in bug zilla.
