What i would like to know, is if there is a posibillity in Bugzilla of
configuring our company specific life cycle, and how this is actually
performed.
In other words we would like to use our life cycle instead of the one that
is (as i understood from the docs) hardcoded in Bugzilla.
Thanks in advance

The workflow is hardcoded, but there is some configuration of the statuses and when comments are needed.
Please tell us where the docs say it's hardcoded, because that's no
longer true. As of 3.4, both statuses, status transitions and
resolutions are customizable.

That is not true as of 3.4; visit your local equivalent of:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/editworkflow.cgi
to edit the workflow.
