Search by language?

Hi all (especially devs!),

On my walking tour of Berlin I ended up recruiting a potential volunteer. I
wanted to search Mozillians to connect him with people that speak his
native language - he's from the Philippines, but his native language isn't
Tagalog. I realized that right now searching on languages doesn't seem to
work.

Is this something that's meant to work but is broken? Is it in the plans
for the future?

I also checked the Reps portal and realized that we don't list our
languages there. I think this is really important, especially if we want
people to be able to look up a Rep to help them get started with Mozilla.

Sounds like an excellent idea!
I don't think that there is anything planned for this though.
Since this list is only for the Reps portal, maybe we should add a couple of bugs,
one for each project, and continue the discussion there.

Tasos,

I did send this to the Mozillians list as well. Bugs would be great, if
someone wants to file them before I get to it that would be great,
otherwise I'll figure it out (have other things to do first).

Did u get an offline answer to this? If not, you can ping William R as he
is the "master" of both portals (Mozillians/Reps)
Second, you can enter a bug for it as enhancement and they will triage it
and decide in their next meeting. (mzl.la/new-mozillians-bug)
