Hello Fellow Reps

As we all know, if a reps opens a event in our portal, by default he/she
becomes the event owner, even if he/she is not he organizer or not in the
plan of that event. To provide logistic support he/she opens a event page
and become event owner. I think it will be better if we can add actual
event owner/organizer in the page.

We contribute for nothing but recognition is our asset. For some one, who
gives a lots of effort to organize a event, but he/she feels that he/she
doesn't get the recognition for his/her effort. In past we have faced some
issue about it, and some of our mozillian felt leftout and left community
for this.

The current logic behind this workflow is that the portal reflects and documents the work of Reps. So if a Rep creates an event to help with logistics and budget then she actually is the event owner on the *Reps side*.

Having said that, this is a programmatic issue and not a technical one. So it would be more suitable to open this discussion on Discourse Reps category [1].
