Migration to Discourse

Hi everyone!

Probably you already saw that on https://mozillians.org/it/group/mozilla-reps-mentor/ there is a group of Reps Mentors, you have probably an invite on your email inbox if you didn't accept already.

This group is not a classic Mozillians group but Access Groups that enable use to do 2 interesting things for our role:

* We have a Google Drive folder private only to the people that are part of this group, at this link https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/0AN3H_AxGKTfPUk9PVA or on your drive.google.com page and clicking on Team's Drive you will be able to see different folder shared with you (there is also the NDA folder BTW).
* Private category on Discourse. In that way we can deprecate this mailing list and move on Discourse where there is the rest of the community.

Soon the spreadsheet with the list of Reps looking for a mentor (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Fw36FDfGDMfgCWJDWZ7JDdk4FsxMaD_auSS4YzeADkg/edit#gid=815047712) will be moved in that private folder too.

In any case if you already are a member of the Mozillians group is important that you follow that Discourse category https://discourse.mozilla.org/c/reps/mentors or you will don't receive any notification!
If you cannot access that category there are 2 solutions:

* Check if you are part of the mozillians group
* Logout/in again in Discourse

This mailing list will be deprecated and removed soon when the Council will think that now we are all on Discourse.
Another remind we have a lot of Reps looking for a mentor so if you want check the spreadsheet, add your name and later a Council member will reach out the mentee to confirm the new assignment.

Hi Daniele,

Thanks for your hard work. I don't know if you or Henrik can help me on
that, but I'm unable to access the group (yes, I did the logout and
login), and the email on my profile is associated with the mozillians
account, so I guess it can be because I'm login through Github (I can't
find a way to log in through my email).

So I'm kinda lost if I should try another workaround.

Hi Francisco,
with access the group you mean the Discourse category? If it is Google Drive you need to add a Google Identity on Mozillians.
For Discourse is very strange because you are in the mozillians group.
I will check that issue and see if others has the same problem.

Hi everybody,
another update after the Reps Council call of yesterday we chosen to give time for 2 weeks before we remove this mailing list.
I will write to all the mentors that are pending invites on mozillians etc ASAP.

Hi Daniele,

I haven't tried on the GDrive. Discourse allows me to log in, see my
details, etc, but doesn't allow me to get into the Mentors category.
I've double checked on Mozillians, and the email associated in
Discourse. It could be probably that I had an LDAP, and now I've started
to use Github as an authenticator (I've moved from LDAP to plain email,
and then to Github), so I don't know if we need to ask Henrik for help.

Yes I think that is better to ask to Henrik but I guess that you miss in your profile a Google Identity provider configured.
