Hi council.

I would like to share with you something that Wasn't a problem in the past
but now, reviewing my profile, I think we should change or review something.

I have been absent since April (I have not organized any activity) but, I
have been supporting other Mozillians with their activities and
Reviewing/approving bugs. Reviewing my profile, it says I'm the event
organizer, but the only thing I did was to create the event page, ask for a
budget and swag and bring some orientation to Mozillians (who organized the
event in real) about the event organization, but all the logistic and
technical work was made by Mozillians, not by me.

I feel really bad, because It sounds like I am the event owner and
responsible by the event success and is not true. Maybe could we add one
option and recognize the effort of Mozillians who work hard organizing an
event when a Mozillian joins to the event page, and add an option for Reps
who track the event when the Rep creates the event page.

Sorry, I have thought this after the RemoCamp [?]

Gloria,

Thanks for brining this up. Lately, I noticed this with some of my mentees
as well while helping an event hosted by a FSA. I like you suggestion too.
But, let's see wait to hear from others in the council.

Cheers,

Raj

Adding the devs. This sounds like something that we can add to the portal.

Gloria, I suggest filing a bug and then we will see how we can proceed.

Thanks for flagging this.

This has been raised before I think. The portal is for "internal" use, keeping track of Reps activity. So when a Rep is listed as event organizer, this doesn't mean he/she organized the event but just being the event owner on the Reps side.

>From what you are saying Gloria it doesn't seem you are inactive at all. Supporting the community and help out with budget/swag logistics or general guidance is still part of Reps tasks.

Gloria,

I think that we're just missing the activity "supporting Mozillians" or
mentees. You are indeed active :)
And yes, good idea to show more clearly who is in charge of the event.
