Hello Mozillians,

In my college(Gyan Ganga Institute of Technology & Management, Bhopal)
There will be a Technical festival (http://techerudition.com) on 14th, 15th
and 16th of* April*. And, there are lots of students and my colleagues who
are interested to know more about Mozilla and contributing in it. So, I
gave my name to involve Mozilla In this tech. fest. We would keep some
session on development tools like Firefox OS Apps, Web making, and many
more. I have already talked about it to my college management team.
Even, the specially thing is that my faculties and
H.O.D.(Information Technology) also excited for it. For this we need some
Core Technical speakers/volunteers from Mozilla. Anyone Interested to Come
here and taking web making sessions.

As Vaibhav Said we Need Speaker who is able to take session on Mozilla web-making tools, like Hackasaurus, thimble ,popcorn and Firefox apps development.
Actually, we gave our name on behalf of Mozilla for presenting there. I am able to taking session as Mozilla Rep. But College management said: they do not allow students for taking session. that's why we want any Mozilla volunteer who is professional who can represent Mozilla there.

That's weird, they should understand that YOU are mozilla, there is no
distinction, you are a Mozilla Rep(resentative).

Talk again with them and speak about this, also you can ping the council
to send a letter to College management to backup you.

It could be that the school doesn't allow its students to run sessions,
they need to attend them.

Hi Komal, Vaibhav,

Thanks for proposing a Mozilla session at Techrudition.

A few things:
-- for such type of regional events it would be easier to find relevant
speakers at regional mailing list
-- I understand that it is a common thing for colleges in India to request
for speakers who have 'job titles' and are not their own students.
-- We do have regional community members with such job titles but the only
thing I'm worried is, its a bit last minute to talk to them and plan for
their travel as the event is in Bhopal.

As far as I know, Ashish is now back to Bhopal(?), he should be able to
help with the event.

Faisal, Ashish, can you please coordinate with Komal and Vaibhav and see if
a speaker from Bhopal can be arranged for this time?

Hi Vineel ,

As of now i am still in Bangalore and just came back from bhopal few days
back.

Komal and Vaibhav you could inform about this in advance so we could plan
our Mozfest Bhopal event accordingly and will be able to handle both the
events.please make sure to inform in advance about such conditions.anyway
we will plan something for this event.

@ Fiasal : we can ask *omar farooque* to have a session in this event, he
is *web developer* from bhopal and i think he also knows about Mozilla Web
Maker Tools , so he will be able to take session in this event. please
contact him
about the same and ask for the time, the only thing is his availability in
bhopal during this event time.lets hope for good and contact him. i don't
have his contact information so you only can contact him.
