Hi Team :)

As you might know I'm finalizing some research about the opportunity to
build a developer community as part of a larger Developer Program under the
Dev Marketing umbrella.

To do this I'm creating a survey that I need to spread to as many
developers as possible. It is plan to have that survey advertise in our
news letter and I was wondering if it could be possible to also advertise
it in the MDN soap box for 2 weeks.

Do you think it is doable? I'm targeting the next two weeks to run that
survey.

Let me know what you think and if you have any questions.
Thank you :)

Hey Jeremie,

Do you have a date in mind for this survey or asap? And is this English only or localized?

Thanks!

If possible starting between March 30th and April 3rd and run it up to
April 14th

The survey itself is in English but it's necessary to advertise it to all
languages (one of the question in the survey is about localized content so
having people from which English is not their native language is good to
have)

Thanks :)

Hey Jeremie, do you have a text and link for this?

Displaying something in the soapbox is always a bit of a tradeoff. Is there maybe a number of participants that makes sense to reach and we remove it after reaching that or within 2 weeks?

Absolutly:

Mozilla is working on a new program for developers and other web builders
like you. You can help shaping that program by taking our 10min survey:

I'm targeting a full 2 week survey. However, I plan to do a check at the
end of the first week to see if we have enough data to make conclusion.

It's fast to add a soapbox, and this is similar to ones we've added (and
grumbled about) in the past.

We can't target soapbox by language, and can't localize it either.
However, the survey is also not localized, so this is probably not a
problem. It is easiest to display on all pages.

There appears to be placeholder text in the survey. Please let us know when
you are ready.

It's not a problem, the easiest way is what is needed in that case :)

Yes, I was handeling the last round of feedback today and we are good now.
It would be nice if the survey could be pushed on MDN between tomorrow
(Friday) and Monday.

Thanks for your help :)
