Hello everybody :)

For a few weeks, the MDN team is discussing the opportunity of having some
mentorship on the Glossary. We are now opening that discussion to get your
feedback and opinion.

The idea is to provide some help for those of you who wish to contribute to
the Glossary but feel easier to have some help to avoid mistakes or to
build some review process.

At the moment, here is what we think a mentor should do:

- Basically, mentors are MDN Topic Drivers
-
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/MDN/Contribute/Topic_driver_role
- They also have a commitment to help new contributors and answer
their questions
- They are also responsible to found and engage new contributors
- At last they are responsible to make sure all glossary entries
are properly reviewed and tagged.

This is what is in our mind, but the question is what's in yours? What do
you think to have such mentorship? Is it useful? Are you expecting
something different from a mentor?

We already have 2 people that had step up to be mentors (Klez and Biraj) Do
you have question you wish to ask them? Thought to share?

Feel free to tell us what you think about this and if you feel it's a good
think or not. If this is a success we are also considering having mentors
for the learning articles (In the meantime feel free to ask me anything
about that)

Best,
--
Jeremie
