I just subscribed this list (again, first time was failed :(().
Say hello to the worst newbie ever.
Anyway...
You might have heard about our videoraid project on November the 8th, in Rome. We're doing this as part of the "Light the World with Firefox" campaign for the anniversary.
What we're going to do with our collegue (www.v3rbo.com) is to go around the city along this itinerary (tmp: http://bit.ly/22EYqF - about 30 spots some of them are still to be defined as we don't want to upset tourists beaming a brand over monument), and project the Firefox logo and wordmark ( http://bit.ly/21Z0G7 ) and some copy and call to action like "5 years and counting... http://www.getfirefox.com".
But I assume this is completely clear to all of you already. Lazy guy here.
Anyway, Mary asked me to share what we're doing to promote it -- in case anyone wants to help!
We set up a sort of a super simple teasing campaign.
Since last week we set up a facebook profile, a facebook fan page, a twitter account, a youtube account, and so on.
Before that on our personal profile we began tweeting and updating a small quote taken from the movie "V for Vendetta" which is "Remember, remember the 8th of november...".
Today we started adding a hashtag as a suffix: #firefox5 or #catchthefox.
It would be great if you could help tweet about this!
Also I played a bit today with my f***ing iMovie (@wquiviger ), and this is what I came up with to start creating some buzz:

Everyday we plan on adding a new "teaser" and information about the videoraid.
We'll use twitter to share meeting points for the next hotspot where we're going to beam on Sunday night -- A very simple and basic teasing campaign called Catch The Fox.
To recollect all the materials, posts, tweets, pics, videos, youtube videos, and so on, we set up also a very alpha website with some social media integration.
It's a drupal installation on our server and you can look at it at http://catchthefox.nois3lab.it
So, assuming that this could be of any help for some of you (and I don't think you need my suggestion at all, as I love mozilla marketing), it would be really cool if you help to spread the word about that.
Here's our timeline so far:
* 10/29 -> 11/2 ->> posting "remember remember the 8th of november" around.
* 11/2 -> 11/4 ->> post more "remember remember the 8th of november #firefox5" or "remember remember the 8th of november #catchthefox"
* 11/2 -> 11/4 ->> post catch the fox #0 video and broadcast it around
* 11/2 -> 11/4 ->> post catch the fox #1 (adding details on Fx fifth anniversary and the videoraid) video and broadcast it around
* 11/4 -> 11/6 ->> post catch the fox #2 (adding the twitter account) video and spam it around
* 11/7 -> launch the campaign catch the fox itself with the appointment announced on twitter.
