Privacy policy on www.mozilla.org

I wanted to post about how the recent discussions about Privacy Policy
changes affects the Privacy Policy on www.mozilla.org. In general I
think it's a good idea to stay in sync with the changes that are
happening on other sites to provide a consistent policy.

I reviewed the new policy with Harvey and Catherine yesterday and our
initial thoughts were that we needed to add some information about how
donations are handled to be able to use it on www.mozilla.org. This
could be added to the section that already talks about transactions
made through the Mozilla Store:

1.Mozilla does not publicly release information gathered in connection
with commercial transactions (i.e., transactions involving money),
including transactions conducted through the Mozilla Store or
donations to Mozilla Foundation.

If there are any comments or suggestions about this specific change or
about the www.mozilla.org version of the policy, please let us know.
