For reference, the existing governance structure for the site is at:
https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mozilla.org/Owners_List
We'd like to make the following changes:
* Have John Slater be the Design Module Owner (he is currently listed
as providing design and copy style guidance but this change would give
him final say over design issues for the merged site)
* John would also own the new /firefox directory on mozilla.org when
the mozilla.com contents are moved over. This fits into the current
system where individual directories on the site have a specific owner.
* Have Fred Wenzel be the Technical Module Owner (he would set the
overall technical direction for the merged site).
* Have Reed Loden be a Technical Module Peer (he has been the
Technical Module Owner but has asked to be a peer instead)
* I would remain as Content Module Owner.
This merge will be a big project and it will only be a success if we
have a team of people working together and I think this proposed
arrangement is the best approach to take for the merge and for
managing the combined sites going forward.
If there are any objections, let me know. If not, I'll go ahead and
make these changes.
