I don't see what the link has to do with the Subject.
Janis Joplin had/ died of/ drug problems including alcohol, but the vid
of her breakout Monterey .mx tour doesn't relate to solving anyone's
problem/s in that regard.
Stevie Nicks, who I like and appreciate more/differently than I do JJ,
had great admiration and respect for - idolized - Janis Joplin. SN
described in abundant terms how JJ inspired her. Interestingly, she has
described in some detail one of JJ's more inspirational 'messages' to her.
Stevie's band was opening for JJ and everything was running late. While
SN was on-stage in San Jose with the Fritz band, JJ was furiously
screaming at her/them from offstage "What the f*ck are you *ssholes
doing? Get the hell off of my stage." (Or maybe in more crude terms than
that.)
Then SN sez/ goes on/ "But then Janis got up on that stage with her
band, and this woman who was screaming at me only moments before
suddenly became my new hero."
There's more to that SN story of JJ adulation.
