I was down at a friends place who uses Mozilla thuunderbird and Firefox,
I spend some time trying to find out where to configure this problem,
when he reads email with a link attached , example If I send him an
email with a attached link to go to a motorcycle parts website, I click
on the site at it runs Internet Explorer for the browser, where can I
find this to change so it will run Firefox instead of Win Explorer.

thanks
Chet

us...@domain.invalid expressed an opinion:

In Firefox, Tools, Options, Advanced, General tab.

There's a button to check if Firefox is the default browser.

In Thunderbird, Tools, Options, Advanced, General tab.

There's a button to check if Thunderbird is the default mail client.

Make sure his OS is configured to have Firefox as the default browser.

Look at the sequence of the post only a second two apart. I believe he
is not deliberately .
