http://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=78892 -- The
Thunderbird settings will be roughly the same as SeaMonkey although the
exact steps as specified might be a little different.

I see you already have a response for IMAP mail so here is the one for
POP (which I use).

Enable gmail for POP using these instructions:
http://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=13273

Then set up the account on SeaMonkey Edit - Mail & Newsgroups Account
Settings.... Go to
http://support.google.com/mail/bin/static.py?hl=en&page=ts.cs&ts=1692342&from=75293&rd=1
and check "No, this address has not worked recently" for the settings.

The mozilla.support.seamonkey newsgroup is probably a better place for
SeaMonkey questions.

To all that answered, between all of you, I got it setup I decided to
use the imap settings.

The only one I have setup as imap. Seems to be working for now.
