Refresh?

What happened to the reload or refresh button
that used to be on Firefox 3, that was so useful?
I can't find that feature anywhere now, in 4 or 5.

FF4/5 initially confronts the uninitiated with just a little Firefox button
at top left of the screen. That's quite a shocker! Where did all the
operating controls go? What happened, for Pete's sake? It takes awhile to
recover from that piece of design madness gone awry.

After that initial shock wears off, you might begin to develop an
adventurous explorer's spirit, and decide to click on the Firefox button to
see if anything happens. It does...

There's a dropdown list of available operations. If you'll traverse the
Options submenu therein... You can select and click to turn on the Menu Bar,
Navigation Bar, Bookmarks Bar, Add-on Bar (collectively known as the
"Toolbars"), or any combination thereof.

Then you can rightclick on one of those toolbars and select Customize to
drag various control icons to/from it - including the much sought after
reload/refresh button. It's there, somewhere, believe me!

But it's not really needed unless you are a stranger to your keyboard and
require everything to be done with the mouse pointer. Pressing the F5 key
does the same thing. A more vigorous refresh can be had by pressing two keys
simultaneously, Ctrl and F5.
