I have download Skype and purchased the monthly subscription. Overall I
am satisfied with one exception. Skype and Firefox do not work well
together at all. I installed the Firefox Skype extension and my
browsing performance slowed to a crawls and sometimes froze I did some
research and apparently this it true for all Skype/Firefox users. I had
to uninstall the firefox extension. It's not clear who developed the
extension Skype or Firefox but until a better one comes out I can't use
it. Please let me know if and when this problem ever gets fixed
