Text selection by dragging the mouse

It is difficult to select the first wird of a line of a block of text if one tries to select it by click-dragging the mouse from left to right because one needs to precisely aim for the first letter, otherwise the selections reaches from position 0 of the containing element up to the mouse cursor position. I think this should be fixed.
