I've installed Attachment Options 1.0, it doesn't do what it should. The
attachment bar is still displayed "collapsed". I still have to click it
to see the attachments icons. I could of course click on the image, and
then on Save As, but wouldn't be any more convenient than the attachment
bar. The attachment bar is there so that you _don't_ have to select an
in-line image and then Save it. Right?

Hey, right???? Or am I missing something?

You know, this may be a little thing to you, but it's a big thing to me.
I'm becoming so annoyed that I'm going to test a few of the other e-mail
clients and news readers out there. I might even buy one, just to get
proper treatment of attachment bars and icons.

Bah!

First of all, this isn't the right place for this message, and it's
only by chance that I happened to see it. The appropriate place to
send a support request for an add-on is the support site for the add-
on[1], which is linked on its page on AMO[2].

In any case, I'm assuming you didn't right-click the attachment bar
and select the behavior you'd like. The AMO page shows a screenshot[3]
of this in action and even says: "Settings can be modified by right-
clicking on the attachment pane." If you've already tried this and it
doesn't work for some reason, please file a ticket in the bug
tracker[1].

Thanks for the reply, Jim. I did right click etc, but for some reason
the behaviour didn't stick until I'd closed TB and shut down/restarted
Win 7. I've reported on the site you referenced.

Have a good day,
