Definitely think there's some merit in it, though it makes random access
a lot harder than it might need to be.

It seems like they've thought about the idea of random access, because you
can click on the 'tabs' in the scrollbar and it will jump (scroll rapidly)
to that website.
It's pretty cool!!

While it doesn't seem to be quite what you want. If you look at the
usability group, there appears to be plans to have a snap tab feature
in the works.
