As part of the old bug 604688, we're moving away from hosting releng-related data at origins http://build.mozilla.org and https://build.mozilla.org. Aside from some internal-only stuff, the origins currently only serve 301 redirects. In about three months, on September 30, we plan to take the origins down entirely.

The new homes for various things you might have used on these origins are:

http://build.mozilla.org/builds
-> http://builddata.pub.build.mozilla.org/reports

https://build.mozilla.org/buildapi
-> https://secure.pub.build.mozilla.org/buildapi

https://build.mozilla.org/clobberer
-> https://secure.pub.build.mozilla.org/clobberer

https://build.mozilla.org/trychooser
-> http://trychooser.pub.build.mozilla.org

Note that there are lots of other origins with the suffix "build.mozilla.org". Those are completely unaffected by this change.

The 301's should take care of re-programming your awesomebar, but if you have any automated tools that are hitting these old URLs, please take the time now to switch to the new URL before the old stops working.

Hopefully this is a no-op for just about everyone. Let me know if it's not, or if there are any other concerns.

Dustin
