[SpiderMonkey] Speed of execution on MacOSX & XP .v. Vista

I have built SpiderMonkey on MS Visual Studio 8 on Vista and XCode on MacOSX
10.5 and am getting real performance issues on Vista.

MacOSX runs a build of a small but intensive app in less than a second where
the same app on Vista is taking 20 or more seconds.
I have just found XP runs the same app in less than a second. So its
something "wrong" with Vista.
Anyone else had the same experience and/or solved this problem ?

We don't see anything like that size of difference between XP and
Vista in Mozilla's testing -- do you have a profiler (like VTune or
Quantify) that can help spot the difference? Do you see the same
results on other machines?
