Hi Team,

Hope all are doing good!

I would like to get some clarification about the SQLite version in NSS
3.44.4. From release notes of NSS 3.46, i see that the "Bug 1550636
<https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1550636>- Upgrade SQLite
in NSS to a 2019 version"

has been fixed .Is the upgraded  SQLite version also available in NSS
3.44.4?

Best Regards,

It's unlikely. On the other hand, not all instances of NSS come with the
imbedded SQLite library. Most NSS instances use an external library
(either included in the operating system or included with the
application using NSS).

On linux, for instance, NSS uses the system SQLite, which is often newer
than the version shipped with NSS. In Mozilla products, Mozilla includes
their own copy of sqlite which NSS uses.

In these cases, you won't find a copy of sqlite in NSS, but instead nss
uses the system copy.
