I am running Fedora 22 Alpha armv7 on a Cubietruck using:

Fedora-Xfce-armhfp-22-20150223-sda.raw.xz
<https://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org//work/tasks/8219/9038219/Fedora-Xfce-armhfp-22-20150223-sda.raw.xz>
from
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/tasks?state=all&view=tree&method=appliance&order=-id

I have installed Firefox, added your extension per instructions,
restarted Firefox.

I then went to cnn.com and chose a NASA video of the approach to Ceres.

http://www.cnn.com/videos/us/2015/02/21/nasa-dawn-mission-to-ceres-orig.cnn-nasa

The video does not start automatically as it does on my F21-x86 notebook
with Firefox and the flash-plugin. OK, I can live with that.

I click on the play arrow, the video starts to load, the video frame
starts to flash and the following message is displayed:

Video format or MIME is not supported

Please tell me how to trouble-shoot this (I am assuming no one here is
working on an armv7 platform?).

I REALLY need this, as Adobe seems to have no interest in extending
Linux support, especially towards ARM.

Hi Robert,

thanks for the report. This particular message means that the video is
encoded in a proprietary, non-standardized video format not supported by
the html5 <video> tag. We have ideas for supporting this, but none that
will be available in the immediate future. There really isn't much to
trouble-shoot about it, either: it's just not supported for now, sadly.

We're well aware of the issues that especially Linux has with Flash, which
is part of why we're working on Shumway. I'd be lying if I promised you any
fast solution for all use-cases you might have for Flash, though, so please
bear with us until Shumway is ready for primetime.

thanks,
till

Just went to nasa.gov and the videos there are working. Could not find
this one that cnn is showing; don't know who put it together, thus who
to complain to...

It's not useful to complain to the website authors, really. Shumway is
still very much in development and you can't expect website developers to
put effort in supporting it until it's more mature itself.
