RTL Calendars in Mozilla Products

Hi there.
I'm Amir Farsi from Persian l10n team. I'm glade to meet you from all of countries with RTL languages.

I think calendar is an important part of any localization. Now most of countries with RTL languages are using a calendar which is not Georgian.

In most of operating systems on Mobile and PCs we haven't foundamental support for multiple calendars. As result, most users in these countries can't use calendar, reminder, and task management applications. Because most of these apps are based on Georgian calendar.

We should have support of middle eastern calendars which are official in these countries. Some persons made an .ics file which you can import theme in current calendars. But this is incomplete solution. We should can be replace main calendar of any calendar application or main calendar of any OS.
For example google calendar now have an option in it's settings which you can choose an replacement calendar for main calendar.

I think for start, we should be have support for these calendars:
1-Solar Hijri calendar/Jalali calendar (Official in Iran and Afghanistan with some defendants in name of months)

Also i want say this calendars should be accessible on these Mozilla products:
1-Lightning
2-Firefox OS
3-Thunderbird(In mail section that shows date of receive/send emails)

As second task, we should translate Georgian calendar which now is in Firefox OS and other Mozilla products to RTL languages. For example فوریه Instead of February for Persian language. Or فِبریوری  instead of February for Persian Dari (In Afghanistan)
