iOS 8 vs 9

I am looking at the review attached to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1160759 to break it up into bugs.

I’m finding that a lot of these issues are not present on my iOS 9 Simulator.

For example, compare the Search Settings:

Is it possible that this review was done on iOS 8 and that Apple did a lot of RTL work in iOS 9? And that the iOS 9 changes result in a much better behaving app already?

We are planning on deprecating iOS 8 fairly soon, and making iOS 9 a minimum requirement for Firefox for iOS. So now I am wondering if we should actually spend time on things that do not work correctly on iOS 8. (Currently less than 3% of our installs are iOS 8.x)

Hi Stefan,

We reviewed (L10N201603161001) version on iOS 9.2.1 and maybe Apple fixed some of RTL issue in the new version of iOS. and if it's necessary we can update RTL review for iOS 9.3.1.
