Hi Linkers,

Now that we have a public discourse channel for the Link project [1], I suggest we close this mailing list and push all public discussions. Any objections?

Thanks,
Michael

Yes, please close this list. Is there any way to force-subscribe people? I've been afraid to use this now-obsolete-list because I wasn't confident that everyone remembered to subscribe. Can we close FoxLink@ too?

+1 to closing both mailing lists.

Sadly I don't think discourse allows you to do this as easily as a mailing list.

Hey guys!

I don't think Discourse allows that, but is there a way to
"force-subscribe" new email addresses to a Discourse topic (the same way
you would do a mass subscription on mailman)?

Cheers!

Apparently no (or not yet):

https://meta.discourse.org/t/watch-category-on-bulk-invite/21456/9

What we did when we closed the foxfooding mailing list was to point
people to the pinned post on the new discourse category with clear
instructions on how to subscribe:

Cheers.
