I've just noticed (not sure if that is a regular thing) that MySQL
hosted/offered a so called "Linux MySQL distros meeting" (*) where the
MySQL team sat down with packagers from the Linux distributions talking
about distro specific things and communication.
I like that idea pretty much. What do others think? Would it make sense
to do something like that for Mozilla?

For the who or how many I've posted here and hope to get feedback from
them (as I hope they are reading this list/group).
When and where? Good question. The MySQL people did it after FOSDEM
apparently which seems to be a good candidate but then again it takes
almost a year until it happens again. I'm not sure there is another
conference which would fit as good as that one though.
So I'd propose to wait how much feedback we get here to see what a good
location would be. I think there is also a Mozilla/Firefox summit once
in a while which could be an opportunity to merge it somehow.

There are RMLL/LSM in Bordeaux, France in july 2010, FWIW.

PS: Sorry for the duplicate
I'm not personally involved in the packaging of xulrunner, iceweasel
or any other official Debian packages of Mozilla products or
derivatives in a direct way, but I'm a Debian Developer and I'm also
somehow involved in Mozilla, so I'm interested in that, if I can be of
any help :)
Greetings,
Miry
