looking at
http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Linux_compatibility_reference
http://wiki.mozilla.org/Linux/Runtime_Requirements
I found that both are not really up to date.
The compat reference contains distributions which don't fulfill the
current build requirements. I could fix the list for SUSE distributions
to reflect the current state (which means everything before 10.2 would
be dropped).
Probably others should update the table as well.
For the runtime requirements it seems to be also not completely up to date.
For example Cairo 1.4.x doesn't work anymore. (Or at least it's disabled
through configure checks).
Also libpng 1.2.x is not sufficient because of the missing APNG support.

I have updated the compatibility reference table for other
distributions. Also added Gtk column which has minimum requirement of
2.10.x and eliminated distributions that don't satisfy this dependency.
Of course, the release team has to verify if they actually want to
support these distributions.
