We will have a scheduled downtime window tonight night from 7pm to
10pm PST. The following changes will take place:
* 7pm PST (0300 UTC) - cb-vmware01 downtime. We'll be rebooting the
vmware server to address a few hung processes on the vmware server.
Affected VMs are:
** cb-jump01
** cb-ausstage01
** sea-newref-linux-tbox
** sb-newref-linux-tbox
** sb-win32-tbox
** sea-win32-tbox
** solaria
** lightning-linux-tbox_1
* 7:30pm PST (0330 UTC) - LDAP authentication change. We'll be
changing some of the way some of our websites and applications
authenticate against our LDAP instance. We believe most of the
servers already have the new settings, but it is possible that we have
missed something. If you find anyplace where authentication used to
work and doesn't after this window, please report it.
Please let me know if you have any reason why we should not proceed
with the planned maintenance. As always, we aim to keep downtime to
as little as possible, but unexpected complications can arise causing
longer downtime periods than expected. All systems should be
operational by the end of the maintenance window. Feel free to email
infra at mozilla.com if you see issues past the planned downtime.
Thanks,
-Justin
