Hi All,

So tomorrow morning the quietly running in the background try-as-branch
will become the new try server and the try you've known for a few years
now will be turned off.

Please remember that this means* you will now be getting opt and debug
builds* for mozilla-central platforms (try 64 bit on the way shortly),
as well as packaged unittests. If you would like to read more about how
the new try server works you can look to:

https://wiki.mozilla.org/Build:TryServerAsBranch

Which outlines how to add a custom mozconfig, and where to file bugs on
tryserver issues.

Once this tryserver is up and running, the remaining try slaves from the
current tryserver will be moved over and we will get back up to full
speed on try builds. Following this we will turn on 64 bit builds for
try, start sending the unittests over to talos user desktop platforms
for testing (just like mozilla-central has now) and also allowing you to
select with more granularity which try builds/platforms you would like
your patch to be done on. Also there will be a try branch for
1.9.2-based builds coming soon - tracking bug for that is
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=563822

Any questions can be directed at lsblakk in #build or #developers or you
can file bugs on the tryserver with this link:

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=mozilla.org&component=Release%20Engineering&status_whiteboard=tryserver

Thanks again for your patience with this transition, I hope that the new
tryserver gets you better results and helps keep trunk building green.

Cheers,

Lukas
