I have a pdf file which has Japanese and English character.
But in other pdf application, it's ok. See attachment: 2.ok-in-pdf-application.jpg
IMPORTANT:
The truncated issue only happens when both Japanese and EN character exist together in current page,
If there's only JP character in current page, it will be OK.
(the title of this pdf is ok, it only has JP charters.)
See attachment: 3.jp-without-en-is-ok.jpg
It looks like letters are top-aligned instead of being based on some baseline.
Steps to reproduce:
open the attachment pdf file with FF ja.
See attachments, these two sample pdf are all truncated:
4.jp-character-truncated.pdf
5.ja-truncated-another-sample.pdf
IMO, it's hard to reproduce this issue in your own PC, because it only happens in Japan OS.
We still can't reproduce this in our own EN Win7 OS, it looks like it only happen in real customer's
JP OS included win 8.1 and win 10, they installed Firefox -X86 ja .
Detail information:
- OS version: Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.10586] - 6.jp-os.jpg
- FF version and pdf.js: - 7.ff-pdf-version.jpg
- FF - Mozilla Firefox 44.0 (x86 ja)
- pdf.js - version: 1.1.551 build-'2a5616c'
- FF graphic info: - 8.ff-graphic.jpg (sorry for some jp charater, I capture this picture from one customer.)
Thanks in advance, if need any information, please feel free to contact me.
