We got some good feedback after the 2.0 release. We're probably going to
release 2.1 soon in order to resolve some issues.
We could use any help we can get with testing.
Significant v2.1 changes include:
* The "-baseline" option in cjpeg has been re-defined so that using it
produces a baseline JPEG, rather than just forcing baseline quantization
tables. Before we did this there was no easy way to produce a baseline JPEG
with cjpeg. Users had to use "-revert", which would also disable features
such as trellis quantization.
* Corrected the number of trellis passes when in non-progressive mode
* Added a few informational warnings about command line options in cjpeg
* Compile fixes for building with Visual C++
* Improved floating point DCT
