Just sending a reminder that the websites task force meeting is
scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday) at 10 AM pacific.

Note that this is just two weeks after the previous meeting to get
back on our regular schedule.

Notes from websites task force meeting on 5/5/11

- Website End of Life Process

Ryan had a number of questions relating to checking if we are properly
expunging data when EOL'ing a website. Are we indentifying all the
data we need to expunge? Do we need to worry about backups? What is
involved in expiring data in Webtrends and what may be user
identifiable in there?

After a discussion we decided that the main issue relating to handling
data on backups is still an open question and will need more
investigation.

For next steps, Ryan will schedule an abandoned sites working group
meeting in June to discuss these issues and also review candidate
sites for archiving or deleting. If anyone is interested in joining,
contact Ryan.

- Documenting Website Product Owners

Not much progress has been made on documenting product owners and
other relevant information on all Mozilla websites since the last
meeting. Most of the discussion focused on how we could crowdsource
this since it's a big chunk of work. One suggestion was to do a
lightning talk about this at a Monday all hands meeting.

- Next Meeting

It was a short meeting this week since we last met just two weeks ago
(we were getting back on schedule after the previous meeting was
delayed by two weeks). The next meeting will be back on the regular
every four week spacing on June 2.
