Sharing my current thinking about upcoming doc sprints:

* Porto Alegre, Brazil, Sept 1-2
It's been suggested that we hold a doc/translation sprint immediately
after BrasilJS, which is August 30-31 in Porto Alegre. So, the doc
sprint would be Sept 1-2. It would be in-person for folks in LatAm, and
virtual for those elsewhere.

* London, Sept 28-30
I will be speaking at TCUK (in Newcastle) on Oct 3-4, so I propose
having a doc sprint in London on the preceding weekend. (The weekend of
Oct 6-7 would conflict with JSConfEU.)

(Technically, these are both in Q3, but they cover the "one sprint per
quarter" goal on average :-)

Hi!

In a very selfish point of view, I look forward for the London sprint... It
will be the opportunity to attend my first Doc spint in person since I
started contributing :D

I think these are both very good ideas. In addition, we'll have a docs
meet-and-greet type of activity at FISL at the end of July, to work on
building our LatAm docs community ahead of the September doc sprint. I
plan to attend that event.

With a specific focus on translation or will it be a normal doc sprint
as well?

Why not "fully in person"? My question is genuine. Mozilla has strong
views on this area. The dev-engage team has goals related to this
country specifically. It might be worth bringing as many people as
possible, doesn't it?
