They seems to be really out of date, and not very relevant anymore. The
pages contain information which is no longer correct with the
introduction of HTML5. The pages also seem to be targeted at developers,
who which to make their IE6-only sites cross browser, and I doubt many
such developers exist anymore.
Is it possible to delete these pages and redirect users to more up to
date version on MDN?

I think, instead, we need to update that page to encourage people to
use standard technologies instead of proprietary ones. It can be made
better instead of deleting it.
